RESEARCH INTERESTS
IN BRIEF
The primary focus of my research is on paving the way to bring the power of Quantum Computing (QC) to real world engineering-science applications. In particular, my efforts have been towards establishing the new area of Quantum Computation of Fluid Dynamics (QCFD) to improve flow simulations.
More broadly, my interests would involve the following themes: Quantum Computing & Quantum Information, fluid flows, quantum and soft condensed matter physics (molecular dynamics) and more recently biological physics. I am generally intrigued by uncanny interdisciplinary amalgamations -- that give rise to new areas of research which benefit from each other's advantages.
Apart from the above, Indic sciences, contemporary philosophy, policy making and science outreach are some areas that I think about and work on.
