ABOUT ME

• I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, New York University, USA. I got my PhD from New York University, being advised by Prof. Katepalli R. Sreenivasan. Prior to this I completed my undergraduate degree from R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE-VTU), Bengaluru, India and also parallelly completed a  graduate level Scientific Achiever's Program in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics from the Centre for Fundamental Research and Creative Education (CFRCE), Bengaluru, India. Presently I also serve as the Past Chair of the Forum on Graduate Student Affairs (FGSA) of the American Physical Society (APS). 

• I am also a vocalist, playback singer and an active stage performer, trained in Indian Carnatic classical music with a wide experience spanning different genres including Indian film, Indian classical and Indo-Western fusion music.

• I have also worked as an actor with over a decade of experience in the Indian film industry, in movies, serials and television soaps, majorly in Sandalwood (Kannada).
